Traditionally Made in Cornwall
Our Story & Commitment to Quality
Established in Cornwall in 1985 by husband and wife duo Tony and Sarah Marsland, Cornish Meadow Preserves emerged from Sarah's talent for crafting handmade preserves for our bed and breakfast in Falmouth. Encouraged by positive feedback from our guests about their breakfast experiences, we decided to create a broader range of handmade preserves for a wider audience. Utilising traditional methods and prioritising the finest locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, we initially participated in small fairs and markets. This commitment to quality caught the attention of retailers across Cornwall, leading to their interest in placing orders with us. As our business expanded rapidly, we received demand from various regions throughout the UK. However, in our effort to minimise delivery distances and associated costs, we chose to concentrate our sales in Cornwall, while still participating in markets both across the UK and in France, alongside renowned food shows and festivals, such as the BBC Good Food Show. We also ventured into exporting hampers to Europe and participated in numerous food award competitions, earning several accolades during this journey. Notably, our Spiced Plum and Rum Jam was recognised as "Best Jam" by Grocer Magazine. Today, we remain committed to excellence in every jar we produce and are confident that you will enjoy our products.
